Kuumba
Kuumba is Toronto’s largest Black Futures Month celebrating Black artists and Black culture through dance, music, workshops and literary events.

The year 2020 marked the festival's 25th silver anniversary. The graphic treatment plus a simple colour palette of black, white, silver and pop of orange allowed the art and artists themselves to be the focus, while also showcasing the festival's Afro-futuristic theme. A clean sans serif font paired with a handwritten font merges history and tradition with modernity.
